My first darkroom, as a teenager, was in a very cold attic, heating only with the developer dish warmers. The enlarger was an old bellows camera mounted with clamps. Dodging and burning was done with hand tools, retouching with paintbrushes. How we've progressed since then!

Today, technology allows for extensive manipulation of images - which for me should not be an end in itself. My passion is for light, texture and magic - that X-factor which makes for a unique and different perspective captured as seen and which makes us shift our experience of the subject, opening our hearts to more of the Universe.

The greatest compliment you can give me is having an "Aha!" moment in viewing these images.
